Overview of MRI Scan
Magnetic resonance imaging, or MRI, is a medical technique that produces pictures of bodily structures using magnetism, radio waves, and a computer. The MRI scanner consists of a tube encircled by a massive circular magnet. The patient is put on a magnet-enabled movable bed. A strong magnetic field is created by the magnet, which aligns the protons of hydrogen atoms, which are subsequently subjected to a beam of radio waves. The different protons in the body spin, producing a feeble signal that is received by the MRI scanner's receiver part. The receiver information is processed by a computer, which results in a picture.
